Cops and Joggers 5k

This event is presented by the F.O.P. Lodge 4 to help raise funds for their Catastrophe Fund.

This fund is exclusively used to support Police Officers and their families who’ve experienced adverse life events both on and off-duty.

In the past, this fund has assisted Officers whose homes were destroyed in a fire and to assist the families of Officers killed in the line of duty throughout the State.

The fund is currently being used to assist Newark Police Corporal Patrick Craig and his family.  Corporal Craig sustained life-threatening injuries while fighting with a combative suspect earlier this spring.

So join us for a fun weekday 5K in the park followed by a pizza and root beer float party.

All participants will receive a commemorative root beer float mug.
